What is it?

The Actors' House LA is the full-time student housing for The Hollywood Film & Acting Academy.  It is located directly next to the Academy.

Purpose:

The purpose is to provide a safe and secure place for new actors and filmmakers who are making the move to Los Angeles.  At the Actors' House LA you will be able to join a community of like minded students, both male and female, as you pursue your dream in the industry.

How it came about:

The Director of the Academy has spent almost half of his life living in Los Angeles and began to notice a trend: aspiring actors and filmmakers would move to LA with every intention of following their dream.  Most ended up stuck in the grind of working a full time job (or two) to pay for rent and bills. Then, disenchanted, they would move back home and put their dreams on the sideline.

In 2008 he decided to do something about this problem and created the Actors' House LA: a place for the full time students at The Hollywood Film & Acting Academy to live - all expenses paid.

Specs:

This two story building has been rebuilt to be a ten bedroom, four bathroom dormitory with a common area, kitchenette and front porch.  All students will share a room.

The guys live upstairs and the ladies live downstairs.  We are very selective on who we offer free housing to.  Please contact us with questions.
